Today is the day...I finally started building! woo woo :)

I started cutting the base pieces and the dang belt on my tablesaw gave up. It was an old saw that was given to me by a friend and finding the belt was near impossible. It has a 36 tooth belt and pulley setup. I finally ordered the belt from Western Tool. $33.94 later I got my belt...well almost didn't. Thanks to FedEx for taking their time. I ordered the belt, they packed it up and sent it the same day (12/19/06). FedEx said it would be delivered 12/23/06. Heh. I finally got it on 12/29/2006. Oh well, at least they got it here.

I went and finished cutting last night. I started the first set last night before bed.

Once this is ready, I will be gluing a 1/4" skin to top and bottom. That will make a pretty nice torsion box. The plans I got off of CNC Zone. They are the JRGO plans, it is supposed to be a simple setup and most people then build Joes_2006 router. I just may do the same thing when I get this one done.
